Sash Window Repair & Timber Restoration in Chelsea

Restore My Window specialises in expert sash window repair and comprehensive timber window restoration across Chelsea. From sash window draught proofing and slimline double glazing to casement window refurbishment and traditional wooden door repairs, we restore the beauty and performance of local period properties. Whether you need to fix a broken sash cord or require bespoke timber window replacement, our team delivers traditional joinery and lasting wood rot repairs throughout Chelsea.

Chelsea is home to many Victorian townhouses, Georgian terraces, listed buildings, mansion blocks, and period apartments, many of which still retain their original timber sash and casement windows. These windows are an important part of the character and appearance of the property, but over time they can become draughty, difficult to open, rattly, rotten, or affected by failing paintwork, damaged putty, broken sash cords, and general timber decay.

Our skilled craftsmen focus on repairing and restoring original timber windows wherever possible, helping Chelsea homeowners preserve the character of their property while improving comfort, operation, and long-term durability.

Rather than recommending unnecessary replacement, we carefully assess each window and advise on the most practical and cost-effective solution.

In many cases, rotten timber sections can be spliced and repaired, sash cords replaced, joints strengthened, draughts reduced, and windows fully redecorated without losing the original appearance of the building.

Whether your property is near King's Road, Sloane Square, Chelsea Embankment, Cheyne Walk, or the surrounding streets, our team can help restore or replace your timber windows and doors to excellent working condition.
