Can you decorate my Windows/Doors?
If we are manufacturing complete new windows or doors, they will be factory finished
with either our standard paint or your chosen finish. We can also decorate your existing wooden windows or doors.
Can you match the style of my existing Windows/Doors?
Yes. We are proud to be able to match most styles and patterns. If you require specific
historically accurate Windows/Doors, replicating the existing features, this can be done
at Restore My Window.
How soon will I be contacted after making an enquiry?
Once you have made an enquiry you will then be assigned to one of our window and door expert who will contact you via email to obtain all the details of your windows/doors or arrange a free site Quotation visit if necessary. Our surveyor will also be able to answer any questions you may have regarding our services.
Can you replace my plastic Window/Door with timber one?
Yes, we regularly carry out work for customers who wish to replace their plastic windows or doors with timber ones.
How do I improve insulation of my Windows/Doors?
We offer a wide range of solutions to improve the insulation of your windows or doors. Our draught sealing and repair services dramatically improve the performance of your existing timber windows/doors. If your windows/doors are in a poor condition and require replacement, we can also manufacture new windows and doors to meet your requirements.
What ironmongrey do you use onto the windows and doors?
It depends upon the type of window or door. Most of our ironmongery is Mighton Product. However, we can offer the ironmongery with a different finish and style of your choice.
What type of wood do you use?
We use a variety of timbers. The quality of the timber that we use is of prime importance.
We offer Accoya as our preferred timber due to its durability. We also like to work with
durable Hardwood/Pine. If you have a preferred timber of choice please speak to us.
Which is better: repair or replace?
Repair is cheaper and for many houses in the UK, sash windows are a key character
feature that we’d like to keep and celebrate and enjoy, as opposed to replacing with
new ones. However our expert surveyors will be able to recommend whether your
windows need replacing or repairing when carrying out a site survey, and will always
recommend the best option for your requirements.
Do you organise your parking?
Yes. When arranging to visit your property we will enquire about parking and will ask if
you are able to provide parking permits, or whether we will need to do it ourselves.
I have a few minor problems with my Windows/Doors, can you help?
Yes, we offer a minor repair service which can carry out repairs to your timber windows
and doors.
